Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Section Engineer for the Sizewell C Project in Suffolk. You will plan and supervise a defined section of works within a regulated nuclear infrastructure environment, acting as the technical lead on site to ensure safe and high-quality delivery.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree/HNC, site engineering experience, knowledge of construction methods, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. CSCS and membership progression (ICE/CIOB) are advantageous.

Qualifications

Degree, HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.
Experience in civil/site engineering and setting out for infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, temporary works, and quality systems.
Proficient IT skills with MS Office and AutoCAD.
Working towards membership (ICE/CIOB) and CSCS card.

Responsibilities

Interpreting and implementing drawings, specifications, and design requirements on site.
Supervising site operations and coordinating engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Assisting with short-term planning, programme updates, and progress tracking.
Producing and reviewing risk assessments and method statements, delivering safety briefings.
Maintaining as-built records and quality documentation.
