Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a Sub Agent for a Tier 1 civil engineering and rail contractor project in the North of England. You will plan, program and supervise works, liaising with clients and leading the works team on major infrastructure activities.

The ideal candidate will hold a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent and have proven experience at Agent level on large infrastructure projects, with a rail background and familiarity with RC/Earthworks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and programme the works

• Prepare method statements and risk assessments
• Interpret and implement the design

Are you an experienced Sub Agent looking for your next contract with an established Tier 1 Contractor?

My industry leading tier 1 civil engineering and rail contractor client are looking for an experienced Sub Agent to join the largest rail project in the North of England.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Planning and programming of the works
• Monitoring and implementing the financial controls and cost reports
• Management and monitoring of Sub Agents, Section Engineers and the works team
• Liaise and chair client/project meetings
• Oversee daily administration, quality, audits, permits and records
• Implementation of company procedures and protocols
• Compilation of Method statements and risk assessments
• Interpreting and implementing of the design
• Health and Safety compliance

Candidate Requirements:

• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent
• Proven experience at Agent level
• Proven experience working for a tier 1 on a large infrastructure project
• Rail background
• Experienced in RC/Earthworks
