Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Site Agent for a contract with a Tier 1 contractor in the UK. The ideal candidate will have RC and earthworks exposure on large civil engineering projects and will drive planning, cost control, and site leadership.

Key requirements include a Civil Engineering degree, agent-level experience, rail background, and relevant safety certifications. The role offers a competitive daily rate and progression in a major infrastructure programme.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent required.
• Proven experience at Agent level on large infrastructure projects.
• Experience with a Tier 1 contractor essential.
• Rail background preferred.
• CITB TW Coordinator certification is required.
• CSCS/PTS card is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Plan and program works to ensure progress against programme.
• Monitor financial controls and cost reporting.
• Manage Sub Agents, Section Engineers and works team.
• Liaise with and chair client/project meetings.
• Oversee daily administration, quality, audits, permits and records.
• Implement company procedures and protocols.
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments.
• Interpret and implement the design and ensure health and safety compliance.
