Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a Sub Agent for a Tier 1 civil engineering and rail contractor project in the North of England. You will plan, program and supervise works, liaising with clients and leading the works team on major infrastructure activities.

The ideal candidate will hold a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent and have proven experience at Agent level on large infrastructure projects, with a rail background and familiarity with RC/Earthworks.

• Proven experience at Agent level
• Proven experience with a Tier 1 on a large infrastructure project
• Rail sector background
• Experience in RC/Earthworks

Responsibilities

• Plan and programme the works
• Monitor and report financial controls and cost reports
• Manage Sub Agents, Section Engineers and the works team
• Chair client/project meetings
• Oversee daily administration, quality, audits, permits and records
• Implement company procedures and protocols
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments
• Interpret and implement the design
• Ensure Health and Safety compliance
