Jackson Civil Engineering is seeking a Sub Agent for the Southern Region (Hampshire/Berkshire/Surrey). You will support the Site Agent/Project Manager on civil highway and river works, leading site teams, managing sub-contractors and programmes to ensure safe, profitable delivery.
You must hold an industry qualification, NEC contract experience and a valid SMSTS, with willingness to travel the region and a full UK driving licence. Excellent benefits and career development are offered.
Due to continued success, we are now recruiting for a Sub Agent to work in our Southern Region around the Hampshire/Berkshire/Surrey area.
We are looking for someone with a positive, proactive attitude who is ambitious, flexible and enjoys working as part of a team.
The successful candidate will have experience working for a main contractor on civil engineering projects, with a strong background in highways and river works.
You will be an effective communicator with the ability to manage and motivate site teams, delegate responsibilities appropriately and organise both your own workload and that of others to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
Experience working under NEC forms of contract is essential, along with a relevant industry qualification and a valid SMSTS (or equivalent) qualification.
Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be willing to travel throughout our Southern Region and hold a full UK driving licence. A First Aid at Work qualification would be advantageous.
