Job summary

Mint Velvet is seeking a part-time store associate in Braintree to support the Store Manager across opening, closing, stock control and maintaining an exceptional shopping environment.

You will deliver outstanding customer service, including Personal Styling, and contribute to visual presentation aligned with Mint Velvet guidelines. You should be an inspiring team member, passionate about fashion and the Mint Velvet brand.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a key holder in a fashion retail store.
• Love of fashion and excellent customer service.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of running the store, including opening & closing.
• Stock control and maintaining a beautiful environment for your team and customers at all times.
• Ensure exceptional standards of customer service, including in our Personal Styling offering.
• Achieve exceptional visual delivery reflecting Mint Velvet guidelines and enhance the customer journey in-store.
• Be proactive in developing yourself and improving performance.

22 hours per week (Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday),

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of running the store, including opening & closing, stock control and maintaining a beautiful environment for your team and customers at all times
• Demonstrate outstanding understanding of Mint Velvet's market position and competitors and use this to generate and act on any ideas, opportunities or concerns that may impact your store
• Ensure exceptional standards of customer service, including in our Personal Styling offering
• Achieve exceptional visual delivery which reflects the Mint Velvet visual guidelines; creating a sanctuary of style and service that enhances the customer journey and overall experience in-store
• Be proactive in driving your own personal development and continually improving your performance
• Follow and adhere to all policies and procedures and run a sound and robust operation
  You'll ideally have previous experience as a key holder in a fashion retail store, possess a real love of fashion, be able to offer excellent customer service and work well as part of a team. You'll need to be an inspirational, helpful and informed role model and know, wear and live the Mint Velvet style.
