Studio Production Coordinator

BrandAlley are seeking a Studio Production Coordinator to work and support our in-house creative team. The role is based at our in-house Photography Studio in Old Street and the candidate will report directly to the Studio Manager.

What will I be doing?
The key responsibility of the role is to support the Studio team in all aspects of setting up shoots from start to finish.
- Taking ownership of keeping studio tidy at all times
- Providing support and working closely with the Studio manager to ensure all products are prepped and ready to be styled. This includes steaming and often styling the samples. Responsibilities also include unpacking samples ahead of shoots and packing them away post shoots
- Working closely with the samples co-ordinator and Studio Manager to suggest ways to improve studio processes and sample management
- Model Ecommerce – Under leadership of the studio manager, assisting in creating, styling, and directing on-brand, relevant outfits, prepping and executing looks, ensuring all products reflect the BrandAlley customer and the relevant brand.
- Presenting looks to the Styling manager for approval
- Still life/Flat lay shoots – Assisting on an array of product stills, whether it is tabletop, flat or mannequin. Ensuring styling guides are followed for product stills to provide consistent imagery across the site
- Coordinating styling wardrobe maintenance, liaising with the studio manager to ensure new season product is refreshed in the wardrobe
- Supporting the styling team with all seasonal research and styling notes
- Pre-shoot - chasing the buying team for their samples
- Post shoot - chasing the buying team and logistics team to remove their samples from the studio
- Being aware of styling trends and staying up-to-date with competitors’ activities to ensure relevance
- Ad hoc tasks when required
What you’ll bring…
The Studio Production Coordinator will be a good communicator and team player, able to work as part of a team and also independently in a pressurised environment.
The candidate will have an excellent work ethic and good time management skills to deliver work on time and to a high standard. Proven commercial awareness with a strong fashion and styling sense is essential.
The good stuff…
- At least 1 year’s experience working in a photography studio with models
- Good knowledge of high street fashion and trends
- Ability to follow a creative brief
- Attention to detail in styling direction
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and initiative
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Retail experience is a bonus
- Experience with CaptureOne is desirable but not necessary
