Job summary

The Trinity Catholic School in Nottingham is seeking a part-time Pastoral Support Worker to assist with daily pastoral duties under the Inclusion Coordinator and Mental Health Lead. You will deliver interventions for students with social, emotional, behaviour and/or mental health needs, developing tailored programmes and mentoring relationships.

• Design and deliver tailored support programmes to improve behaviour and engagement.
• Coordinate with external agencies and families to address individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Foster students' well-being and academic success.
• Work closely with Head of Year, senior leader, and external agencies.
• Design and implement tailored support programmes to improve behaviour, attitudes, and engagement.
• Develop one-to-one mentoring relationships and group interventions to support learning and personal development.
• Coordinate with external agencies and families to address individual needs and enhance social and emotional well-being.
• Assist with the smooth transition of students at key stages in their educational journey.
• Maintain accurate records, including safeguarding-related actions, and uphold confidentiality in all interactions.
