Job summary

Trinity Catholic School in Nottingham is seeking a dedicated pastoral support worker to assist the Inclusion Coordinator, Mental Health Lead and SENCO. You will deliver interventions for students with social, emotional and mental health needs, and build mentoring relationships to support their development.

You will work with external agencies and families, maintaining safeguarding records and confidentiality, while contributing to a Catholic ethos focused on holistic student development.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering tailored support for students with social, emotional, behavioural or mental health needs.
• Ability to design and deliver one-to-one mentoring and group interventions.
• Coordinate with external agencies and families to address individual needs and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate safeguarding records and confidentiality in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Head of Year, senior leader, and external agencies.
• Design and implement tailored support programmes to improve behaviour, attitudes, and engagement.
• Develop one-to-one mentoring relationships and group interventions to support learning and development.
• Coordinate with external agencies and families to address individual needs and enhance wellbeing.
• Assist with smooth transitions of students at key stages in their educational journey.
