Job summary

Trinity CofE High School in central Manchester is seeking two Teaching Assistants to join our high-performing, inclusive secondary school. You will support students’ learning, wellbeing and inclusion, with responsibilities including safeguarding, intervention delivery and classroom support.

Experience with SEND and a background in safeguarding are valued. The role involves term-time hours (08:15-15:45) with a pro rata salary and opportunities for professional development within a supportive

Qualifications

• Experience and understanding of safeguarding and child protection issues.
• Numeracy and literacy skills at least level 2 or equivalent.
• Qualification to NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience with students who have SEND and ability to support inclusion.
• Strong admin skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to drive minibus and have access to own transport.
• Excellent communication and teamwork, with initiative to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Provide learning support and supervision in lessons and targeted interventions.
• Assist with safeguarding, wellbeing, behaviour support and monitoring progress.
• Support with administration and contribute to student independence and inclusion.
