Job summary

Twynham Learning invites applications for two part-time Student Welfare Assistants at Poole High School. Morning and afternoon shifts are available, with 25- or 30-hour weekly options under term-time conditions. The role includes first aid, medication administration with consent, and maintaining electronic records.

Qualifications

• We are seeking part-time Student Welfare Assistants for morning and afternoon shifts.
• Experience with first aid and safeguarding is valued.
• Ability to use basic IT systems and keep records accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and decide if hospital or parent contact is needed.
• Administer medication with parent/guardian authorisation.
• Record treatment in electronic records and daybook.
• Notify parents of medical incidents as necessary.
• Safeguard children and young people per policies.
