Job summary

King's College London seeks a Student Web & Communications Manager to lead planning, development and continual improvement of student-facing content and messaging. You will own student recruitment web content and act as Lead Content Editor for Global Student Recruitment & Admissions, partnering with Digital Content, faculties and agencies.

You will line-manage Officers, oversee projects and budgets, and use analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve content, journeys and performance.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in web content management, content design or digital communications.
• Knowledge of SEO, GEO, accessibility, web standards and the content life cycle; practical enterprise CMS experience.
• Excellent copywriting, editing and content design skills for varied audiences.
• Experience using analytics and performance data to evaluate and improve content effectiveness and UX.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across organisational boundaries.
• Experience leading and developing staff and coordinating delivery through others.
• Experience managing complex projects, budgets and resources with objective delivery.
• Experience commissioning and managing web, creative or design agencies and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Digital Content, faculties, external agencies and suppliers; govern content and optimise user journeys.
