Cirencester Vets for Pets is offering a placement for a motivated Student Veterinary Nurse eager to start a veterinary nursing career. You will learn alongside our experienced team in a modern, well-equipped practice and gain hands-on experience with small animals.
You must be currently studying to become an SVN, and the role is full-time (40 hours per week) with 1 in 4 weekends. Excellent communication and a caring approach are essential.

Our modern, purpose-built practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned, and equipped to industry-leading standards, featuring state-of-the-art technology including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities. You'll gain hands-on experience in a thriving clinical environment while learning from a dedicated and experienced team.
Working closely with our Veterinary Surgeons, Nurses, and Client Care Advisors, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working as part of a team, and is ready to build a strong foundation for a career in veterinary nursing.
No two days are the same. Your responsibilities will include supporting our RVNs, assisting with diagnostic tests, preparing for surgical procedures, handling and caring for a variety of small animals, replenishing stock, maintaining a clean and organised practice environment, and supporting clients both in person and over the phone. Strong communication skills and basic computer literacy will help you deliver exceptional patient and client care.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, including 1 in 4 weekends.
