Job summary

Education Supply Pool Ltd in Abergavenny is seeking Student Teachers to join a flexible supply teaching role in local schools. You will gain experience across primary and secondary settings while you complete your teaching qualification and maintain high standards of pupil engagement.

Successful candidates will be on track to obtain QTS/PGCE or BA in Education, with a minimum of 3 months UK teaching experience and the ability to manage behaviour, plan creative lessons, and collaborate with staff

Qualifications

• On track to obtain QTS, PGCE, or BA in Education.
• At least 3 months of teaching experience in a UK primary or secondary setting.
• Ability to handle challenging behaviour and maintain discipline.
• Plan innovative and creative lessons aligned to curriculum.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver curriculum.

Are you currently a Student Teacher looking to expand you experience whilst you complete your teaching qualification?

Education Supply Pool is a PAYE Employer recruiting for Student Teacher’s to begin work in Abergavenny and their surrounding areas on a supply basis immediately.

Supply work is ideal for those wanting to experience different schools, for those wanting to retain flexibility around their work and those wanting to sharpen their skills before embarking on a more permanent placement.

Holding a Valid UK driver's license would increase opportunities for work

The successful candidate

• Are you on course to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a PGCE or a BA in Education?
• Have a minimum 3-month experience of teaching within a UK Primary or Secondary School,
• Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and maintain discipline,
• Plan innovative and creative lessons with the correct Education and Training
• Liaise with other staff members to deliver curriculum,
• Maintain necessary assessment of pupils,
• Be able to inspire and motivate pupils
