Job summary

Education Supply Pool Ltd in Blackwood, Wales, is recruiting Student Teachers to begin work immediately on a supply basis while you work towards your teaching qualification.

Supply work offers flexibility, exposure to different schools, and a chance to sharpen your classroom skills. A valid UK driver's license can improve opportunities.

The role is PAYE, with a minimum rate of £125 per day, and a selection of short-term and long-term assignments to suit your timetable.

Qualifications

• On course to obtain QTS, PGCE or BA in Education.
• Minimum 3 months teaching experience in UK Primary or Secondary.
• Ability to handle challenging behaviour and maintain discipline.
• Plan innovative and creative lessons aligned with curriculum.
• Liaise with staff to deliver curriculum.
• Assess pupils regularly and provide feedback.
• Inspire and motivate pupils.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons in line with curriculum and school policies.
• Assess and track pupil progress and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with school staff to support learning.

Education Supply Pool is a PAYE Employer recruiting for Student Teacher’s to begin work in Blackwood and their surrounding areas on a supply basis immediately.

Supply work is ideal for those wanting to experience different schools, for those wanting to retain flexibility around their work and those wanting to sharpen their skills before embarking on a more permanent placement.

Holding a Valid UK driver's license would increase opportunities for work

The successful candidate:

• Are you on course to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a PGCE or a BA in Education?
• Have a minimum 3-month experience of teaching within a UK Primary or Secondary School,
• Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and maintain discipline,
• Plan innovative and creative lessons with the correct Education and Training
• Liaise with other staff members to deliver curriculum,
• Maintain necessary assessment of pupils,
• Be able to inspire and motivate pupils

As a valued member of ESP, you’ll receive:

• A minimum pay rate of at least M1 (Currently £125 per day)
• A £125 recommend a friend scheme
• A variety of daily, short-term, and long-term positions to suit your needs,
• No need for completion of time sheets,
• Pay via PAYE direct through Education Supply Pool and not an umbrella company.
