Job summary

Education Supply Pool Ltd in Wales is recruiting Student Teachers to begin work in Tredegar and surrounding areas on a supply basis. This role offers flexible daily assignments across local schools, helping you gain experience while you complete your teaching qualification.

You’ll work on varied classrooms, with support from the ESP team. Requirements include progressing toward QTS/PGCE, at least three months classroom experience, and the ability to manage behaviour and deliver engaging lessons.

Qualifications

• Be on course to obtain QTS, PGCE or a BA in Education.
• Minimum 3 months of teaching experience in a UK Primary or Secondary School.
• Able to manage challenging behaviour and maintain discipline.

Responsibilities

• Plan innovative and creative lessons with appropriate Education and Training.
• Liaise with staff to deliver curriculum.
• Maintain assessment of pupils and track progress.
• Inspire and motivate pupils.

Education Supply Pool is a PAYE Employer recruiting for Student Teacher’s to begin work in Tredegar and their surrounding areas on a supply basis immediately.

Supply work is ideal for those wanting to experience different schools, for those wanting to retain flexibility around their work and those wanting to sharpen their skills before embarking on a more permanent placement.

Holding a Valid UK driver's license would increase opportunities for work

The successful candidate:

• Are you on course to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a PGCE or a BA in Education?
• Have a minimum 3-month experience of teaching within a UK Primary or Secondary School,
• Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and maintain discipline,
• Plan innovative and creative lessons with the correct Education and Training
• Liaise with other staff members to deliver curriculum,
• Maintain necessary assessment of pupils,
• Be able to inspire and motivate pupils

As a valued member of ESP, you’ll receive:

• A minimum pay rate of at least M1 (Currently £125 per day)
• A £125 recommend a friend scheme
• A variety of daily, short-term, and long-term positions to suit your needs,
• No need for completion of time sheets,
• Pay via PAYE direct through Education Supply Pool and not an umbrella company.
