Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting a full-time student support officer to join an excellent Hull school on a temporary basis, starting ASAP and lasting until at least Christmas 2026. The role runs 8:30 to 15:30, with no part-time options initially.

You will build strong relationships with students, provide care during the school day, supervise breaks and lunches, and liaise with the assistant head of years to ensure robust student care provision. DBS and right-to-work checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience as a student support officer or learning support assistant.
• Experience in UK schools.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure and police clearances where applicable.
• CV must cover the full CV history.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Build strong relationships with students in a pastoral role.
• Provide care to students during the school day.
• Feed into assistant head of years/head of years to ensure student care provision.
• Supervise students at breaks and lunch.
• Move around the school to support students as required.
