Pinnacle Training Ne is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our Alternative Education Provision, supporting young people with social, emotional, behavioural, and additional learning needs. You will work with teaching staff to support students one-to-one and in small groups, helping them re-engage with education and achieve their potential.

You will promote positive behaviour, contribute to progress monitoring, and provide targeted support in literacy, numeracy, and exam

Qualifications

  • Experience with young people, including those with additional needs or challenging behaviour.
  • Patient, adaptable and emotionally resilient.
  • Ability to build positive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Works well in a team and takes a proactive approach.
  • Experience in alternative provision, PRU, or SEND settings.
  • Relevant qualification, e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning.

Job description
