Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a caring and motivated Student Support Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Wellingborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning.

Responsibilities include one-to-one and small group support, promoting engagement and achievement, and supporting social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in a school, youth work, care, coaching, mentoring, or support setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
• The ability to build trust and rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
