Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a supportive secondary school in the Kettering area seeking a proactive and compassionate Student Support & Services Coordinator to join their pastoral team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in education, youth work, pastoral support or student welfare, with excellent communication and organisational skills and an enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in education, pastoral, youth work, or support roles.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for students needing pastoral and wellbeing support.
• Monitor attendance, behaviour and engagement; identify concerns and implement support.
• Liaise with parents, carers and external agencies to coordinate support.
• Support safeguarding and student welfare procedures.
• Help students develop positive behaviours, resilience and confidence.
• Collaborate with teaching and pastoral staff to improve learner outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to student support plans.

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a supportive secondary school in the Kettering area seeking a proactive and compassionate Student Support & Services Coordinator to join their pastoral team. This rewarding role is ideal for candidates with experience in education, youth work, pastoral support, or student welfare who are passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning.

The successful candidate will work closely with students, families, teaching staff, and external agencies to ensure pupils receive the support they need to thrive both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a key point of contact for students requiring additional pastoral and wellbeing support.
• Monitor attendance, behaviour, and student engagement, identifying concerns and implementing support strategies.
• Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to coordinate effective student support.
• Support the school's safeguarding and student welfare procedures.
