Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming primary and secondary schools across the Wellingborough area, Northamptonshire, with September 2026 start and flexible full-time or part-time roles.

You will support students 1:1 and in small groups, assist teachers with engaging lessons, promote positive behaviour and inclusion, and help pupils with SEN/SEMH needs in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
  • A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting student development.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
