Job summary

University of Bath is seeking several Student Support Officers to enhance the taught student experience from induction through to graduation. You will work with academic and professional staff to contribute to an integrated student support system within a department and help identify at-risk students.

You will support colleagues through academic advising, course engagement monitoring, Disability Access Plans, Health, Wellbeing & Support for Study, Return to Study, and liaising with Student

Qualifications

• Pro-active and self-motivated, combining initiative with strategic thinking.
• Ability to communicate effectively and develop good working relationships with staff and students alike.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to interpret complex data and manage workload, as well as stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Support students through academic advising and course engagement monitoring.
• Assist with Disability Access Plans and Health, Wellbeing & Support for Study plans.
• Liaise with Student Support & Safeguarding and academic departments across the university.
