Job summary

University Academy 92 is seeking a Student Success Officer to support students across engagement, continuation, progression and belonging. You will identify at-risk students using data and conversations, coordinating timely, practical interventions with academic and professional services teams.

You will provide one-to-one and group support, coaching and guidance, and help deliver success programmes, induction activities and events throughout the academic year.

Qualifications

• Experience in a student-facing role within Higher or Further Education and an understanding that supporting student success requires good processes and strong relationships.
• Able to build trust with students from diverse backgrounds, communicating with empathy and confidence.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to communicate with different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify students at risk of disengagement and coordinate timely, practical interventions.
• Provide one-to-one and group support, coaching, guidance and signposting in collaboration with academic and professional services teams.
• Deliver student success programmes, induction activities and events and initiatives throughout the year.
• Analyse engagement, retention and progression data to inform actions and contribute to the Access and Participation Plan.
