Job summary

Elizabeth School of London is seeking a Student Success Tutor to support student retention and achievement on-site in Manchester. The role focuses on providing first-hand academic guidance and coordinating with lecturers and support teams.

You will engage with students individually and in groups, monitor progress, run sessions and help with study skills, assessments, and mitigation processes, while upholding ESL policies and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from any UK recognised university and minimum 1 year of experience in working at any HEI environment in teaching or academic support role.
• Experience in tutoring and/or providing support for the academic experience of students.
• Flexible, approachable, and helpful with a strong customer service ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to students regarding the support available to them when required.
• Engage in the interests and enthusiasm of students, inspiring them to learn.
• Monitor student progress, providing support, including advice on study skills, as required.
• Take responsibility for administrative duties such as personal tutoring, examinations and assessments.
• Respond to all enquiries when needed via email, over the phone, or face-to-face.
