Job summary

Unite Students is seeking a night-time Student Safety Team Member to join the Newcastle East site. You will provide front-line customer service to residents and visitors, patrol buildings, respond to incidents, and support a safe, welcoming environment across the property during night hours.

Job description

This full-time, temporary Student Safety Team Member role with Pertemps Newcastle supports Unite Students across its Newcastle East sites in Heaton. Working night shifts between 8:00 PM and 7:00 AM at £15.04 per hour, the post-holder provides front-line customer service to residents and visitors, supports resident engagement and helps maintain a safe, clean and well-presented property.

Applicants should be customer-focused, calm under pressure and committed to student welfare, with strong communication and observational skills. Duties include patrolling buildings, responding to incidents, recording information accurately and working closely with the wider property team to create a welcoming environment throughout the night.
