Leeds University Union (LUU) is a charity supporting over 38,000 students. This fixed-term, part-time role (16 hours/week) supports academic representation and coordinates key events like the Leeds Partnership Awards.

It involves admin, data handling, and working with student representatives to improve the student experience. We value strong communication, organisation, and IT skills, with flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across email, phone, and face-to-face.
• Strong organizational abilities with a track record of meeting tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Solid IT literacy (Microsoft Office suite, cloud systems).
• A genuine belief in student-led representation and a commitment to LUU's values.
• Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours (some late nights or weekends).
• Desirable: Prior experience in administration, event support, customer/stakeholder engagement, or data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for academic representation initiatives, including data management and report writing.
• Support the recruitment, development, and engagement of student Academic Representatives.
• Assist with the planning, promotion, and delivery of Faculty Engagement Team events and initiatives.
• Collate, research, and analyse student feedback to help identify key issues and shape improvements.
• Create digital communications, manage social media content, and keep website pages updated.
