Job summary

Keighley College is seeking a Student Relations Officer within Study Programmes to create a safe, welcoming environment where learners can thrive. You will build positive relationships with students and provide approachable support across college life.

Working with teaching, pastoral and safeguarding teams, you will respond to concerns, help resolve conflicts using restorative approaches and reinforce clear behaviour expectations while encouraging student voice and independence.

Qualifications

• Ability to respond to concerns and resolve conflicts using restorative approaches.
• Experience supporting learners and managing challenging behaviour.
• Clear safeguarding understanding and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Be a visible, approachable presence around college.
• Support students with concerns and conflicts.
• Use restorative conversations to resolve incidents.
• Recognise safeguarding concerns and report promptly.
• Coordinate support with teaching and pastoral teams.
• Encourage student voice and participation.
• Record incidents and follow up actions.
