Job summary

Suffolk New College in Halesworth is seeking a Progress Tutor to support 16-19 learners. This on-site role is 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, with a salary range of £28,080 to £32,895 per annum; starting salary subject to the College salary assessment process.

You will work with curriculum teams to guide, mentor and motivate learners, helping them stay on track both personally and professionally, and develop the confidence and routines that lead to long-term success.

Qualifications

• Essential criteria: Level 3 qualification with literacy and numeracy to Level 2 (GCSE 4/C).
• Teaching qualification or commitment to achieving one within a specified period.
• organised with the ability to multi-task and communicate with a range of audiences.

Responsibilities

• Guide, mentor and motivate learners aged 16-19 to stay on track personally and professionally.
