Academics Agency is recruiting dependable and flexible Progress Tutors to support secondary schools throughout Rotherham. Position: Progress Tutor. Temporary role during term time only (Monday to Friday) in multiple educational settings in the Rotherham area, with daily pay of £92.56–£110, plus accrued holiday entitlement.

• Two professional references confirming experience as Progress Tutor or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted one-to-one and small group tutoring across subjects and year groups.
• Monitor student progress, identify development areas, and raise attainment.
• Assist with EHCPs, collaborating with SENCOs to tailor materials and monitor progress.
• Support students in building confidence, study skills, and independent learning; liaise with staff to give feedback.

Academics Agency is recruiting dependable and flexible Progress Tutors to support secondary schools throughout Rotherham.

Position: Progress Tutor

Employment Type: Temporary, during term time only (Monday to Friday)

Placement: Multiple educational settings in the Rotherham area

Salary: £92.56 - £110 per day, including accrued holiday entitlement. Higher rates may be offered based on prior experience, credentials, and individual school budgets.

As a Progress Tutor, you will play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Key Duties:

• Provide targeted one-to-one and small group tutoring sessions across a range of subjects and year groups.
• Monitor student progress, identify areas for development, and implement strategies to raise attainment.
• Assist with the practical application of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), collaborating with Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs) to tailor materials and monitor student development.
• Support students in building confidence, study skills, and independent learning techniques.
