Job summary

York College is seeking a dedicated Progress Coach to support students on their academic and career journeys. This role focuses on coaching 16-18 and adult learners, delivering tutorials, and helping students reach their progression goals at our Sim Balk Lane campus.

You will liaise with students, parents/carers, and employers as appropriate, track progress, and contribute to employability activities. The role is 22.2 hours per week, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience of liaising with students, parents/carers and employers.
• Delivery of individual and group tutorials and development sessions.
• Ability to track and support academic and personal progress.

Responsibilities

• Act as key contact between the College, students, and carers.
• Deliver tutorials and create resources to support development.
• Support applications to higher education and employment; plan work experience.
