Job summary

Sportdreams in Brighton is seeking a Placements Internships & Volunteer Coordinator to support students in securing work-based learning experiences across the university. The role involves advising on placements, guiding students 1-1 and coordinating with employers.

This fixed-term, full-time post (37 hours per week) based at Moulsecoomb/City campuses offers hybrid working aligned with term-time on-campus activity.

Qualifications

• Understanding of student placements in HE sector.
• Experience working with students in an education environment.
• Experience delivering workshops.
• Excellent organisation, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Good administration skills, with MS Office and databases to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Support students on a 1-1 basis.
• Deliver skills workshops.
• Engage with local, national, and international employers and organisations.
• Attend Careers Fairs and other employability events.
• Perform administration to monitor student placement activity.
