Job summary

Manchester Metropolitan University invites current students to join the Library & Cultural Services team for a flexible, part-time role. You will collaborate on open programme resources, assist in information literacy workshops, and help create engaging content for social media and events.

The role focuses on inclusivity, accessibility, and user feedback to improve teaching materials and services. Training and development are provided, with a student-friendly schedule and supportive team

Qualifications

Current undergraduate or postgraduate student at Manchester Met.
Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion policies.
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience with social media and events is desirable.

Responsibilities

Support information literacy teaching resources development.
Assess inclusivity and accessibility of materials and resources.
Contribute to the Library's open programme of workshops.
Create visual and written content for social media and events.
Assist in delivery of teaching sessions (in person and online).
Support communications activities and events within Library and Cultural Services.
Adhere to University policies (Equality, Health and Safety, GDPR).
Participate flexibly as part of the team, taking on additional duties as needed.
