Job summary

Nescot in Epsom is seeking an IT Support role to help students and staff. You will provide first-line IT support, troubleshoot hardware and software, and assist with AV equipment and College systems.

The role requires an IT-related qualification, knowledge of hardware, operating systems and cloud services, and a proactive, customer-focused approach in a busy learning environment; safeguarding commitment is also expected.

Qualifications

• An IT-related qualification and previous experience in an IT-based role.
• Good knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems and cloud services.
• Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work effectively in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to students and staff, troubleshooting issues and supporting hardware, software, AV equipment and College systems.
• Support the effective day-to-day operation of the Learning Resource Centre.
• Deliver excellent customer service and technical support, working closely with the LRC and wider IT teams to provide a positive experience for students and staff.
