Job summary

Cardiff Metropolitan University is seeking a Digital Ambassador to support students and staff in using digital resources. The role is designed to fit around your studies, offering first-line assistance and guidance on campus IT services.

You’ll work with colleagues to provide consistent information, maintain a safe Learning Centre, and promote available resources to enhance study and work experiences.

Qualifications

• Must currently be studying at the university.
• Strong communication and IT skills.
• Able to work flexibly around study commitments.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st line IT support for students and staff, including devices and software.
• Assist with WiFi connectivity and use of digital resources.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming Learning Centre environment during operating hours.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share accurate information for users.
• Advise staff and students on efficient ways to use digital resources.
• Monitor facilities and report issues when unresolved.
