Job summary

The University of Sheffield is seeking a part-time, hybrid role within the Information, Journalism & Communication area to support disability, wellbeing and inclusion for students. You will act as a key liaison, signposting to support services and guiding colleagues on reasonable adjustments.

Join a team dedicated to improving the student journey from induction to graduation, driving equality, diversity and inclusion, and monitoring progression and welfare across the school.

Qualifications

• Experience in student support or welfare roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of disability and mental health issues and related services.
• Strong communication and data handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as main contact for disability, wellbeing and inclusion for all students.
• Ensure Learning Support Plans and Exam Adjustments are understood and applied.
• Advise academic colleagues on implementing reasonable adjustments.
• Lead and coordinate student progression processes and attendance.
• Collaborate with Student Support Services to ensure welfare and inclusion.
