Job summary

Runshaw College in Leyland is seeking a Student Wellbeing Officer to join the Safeguarding and Wellbeing team. The role is hybrid with a required presence during core hours to support learners on campus.

The successful candidate will engage in visible student liaison, early help and wellbeing interventions, helping learners overcome barriers to achievement and promoting positive behaviour across the college.

Qualifications

• Role sits within Safeguarding and Wellbeing team.
• Hybrid role with client-facing duties and required presence on campus.

Responsibilities

• Lead visible student liaison and provide early help and wellbeing support.
• Strengthen student resilience and promote positive behaviour to remove learning barriers.
• Build trusted relationships with students and staff and provide structured one-to-one and group support.
• Collaborate with safeguarding, counselling, Progress Mentors, AL Support, curriculum teams and external agencies to ensure timely, proportionate support.
