Job summary

University of Manchester is seeking a motivated Teaching, Learning, and Student Experience Support Assistant to contribute to a student-centred service within TLSE, across the School of Engineering.

You will respond to student enquiries, support admin, help organise meetings and events, and act as a friendly face on the Student Support Hub.

We value teamwork, flexibility and continuous improvement and welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students or customers.
• Strong communication skills, with clarity and discretion.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence using digital tools or willingness to learn.
• Professional, approachable and student-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Respond to student enquiries and provide clear information.
• Support day-to-day administrative processes, maintain records and systems.
• Help organise meetings and team activities, participate in Student Voice and society activities.
• Assist with student events such as Graduation and Welcome.
• Be a friendly face on the Student Support Hub and cover Hub shifts as required.
