Oldham College is seeking a dedicated Student Experience Officer to enhance College services and priorities for learners across a range of enrichment activities. You will partner with curriculum teams to align enrichment with study programmes and employability skills, while growing inclusive opportunities for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Recent experience developing and facilitating social, cultural, enrichment and volunteering activities for young people.
• Understanding of varied enrichment programmes and how they fit within Study Programmes.
• Broad knowledge of the issues facing young people in post-16 education.
• Experience producing publicity materials and reports in various formats.
• Experience using a range of IT software, including Word, Excel and databases.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver an ambitious, inclusive Enrichment and Personal Development programme for young people, apprentices and adult learners across the College
• Work with curriculum teams to develop sector and faculty-based activity that complements learners' vocational studies and employability skills
• Grow a diverse enrichment offer, including sport, clubs, competitions, projects and skills-based activities that build confidence, communication, teamwork, leadership and life skills
• Organise whole-College events such as guest speakers, celebrations, exhibitions, campaigns and cross-College competitions
• Build partnerships with community organisations, employers and sporting bodies to widen opportunities and increase participation
• Break down barriers to participation by using learner feedback, student voice and data to reach a diverse range of learners
• Track and report on impact, using participation and feedback data to identify gaps and improve provision
• Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments
