Job summary

Oldham College is seeking a committed Student Experience Officer to support the effective delivery of College services and priorities, focusing on enrichment and personal development for young people, apprentices and adult learners.

You will work with curriculum teams to develop sector and faculty-based activity that complements learners' vocational studies and employability skills and grow a diverse enrichment offer across sport, clubs, projects and life skills.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and facilitating social, cultural, enrichment and volunteering activities for young people.
• Familiarity with enrichment programmes within Study Programmes.
• Knowledge of issues facing post-16 learners.
• Experience producing publicity materials and reports.
• Proficient IT skills including Word, Excel and databases.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver an ambitious Enrichment and Personal Development programme for learners across the College.
• Work with curriculum teams to align enrichment with vocational studies and employability skills.
• Grow a diverse enrichment offer including sport, clubs, competitions, projects and life-skills activities.
• Organise whole-College events such as guest speakers, exhibitions, campaigns and cross-College competitions.
• Build partnerships with community organisations, employers and sporting bodies to widen opportunities and increase participation.
• Track and report on impact using participation and feedback data to identify gaps and improve provision.
