Job summary

Central Bedfordshire College is seeking a Student Engagement Officer to join the Student Services team at the Wellingborough campus. You will promote positive behaviour, support learners, monitor campus spaces and contribute to wellbeing initiatives.

The role requires Level 2 English and Maths, First Aid training, and a commitment to ongoing professional development within a friendly, student-centred environment.

Qualifications

• Holds Level 2 English and Maths qualifications.
• First Aid trained or willing to undertake training.
• Committed to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive behaviour, punctuality and attendance across campus.
• Provide guidance and support to students on behaviour and conduct.
• Monitor student spaces, ensure ID badge compliance and record interventions.
• Contribute to enrichment programmes and support student wellbeing.
• Uphold safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
