Job summary

The Bedford College Group is seeking a Student Engagement Officer to join the Student Services team at Tresham College, Wellingborough Campus. The role focuses on promoting positive behaviour, supporting students, and fostering an inclusive, safe learning environment.

You will supervise campus activities, assist with safeguarding, and contribute to enrichment and wellbeing initiatives, aligning with college values and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Has Level 2 English and Maths qualifications.
• First Aid trained or willingness to undertake training.
• Committed to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive behaviour, punctuality, attendance and engagement across campus.
• Provide guidance and support to students on behaviour issues and make referrals where appropriate.
• Monitor student spaces, support ID badge compliance, and record interventions.
• Contribute to the enrichment programme and support student wellbeing as a First Aider.
• Support safeguarding and inclusion, and uphold college policies.
