Zusammenfassung

North Star 265° is seeking a proactive Engagement Lead to oversee our school engagement team and work with the School Leadership Team to promote positive behaviour and inclusive learning. The role involves supporting pupils to access learning, develop social and emotional skills, and engage with the curriculum.

You will respond to crises, develop personalised support plans, record data, and model restorative approaches to behaviour.

Qualifikationen

• Strong understanding of SEMH needs and effective support strategies.
• Knowledge of safeguarding principles and procedures.
• Ability to create and adapt personalised curriculum and engagement plans.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathetic, resilient, and calm under pressure.
• Good IT skills for recording, monitoring and reporting.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and manage the school engagement team.
• Work with SLT to help students overcome barriers to learning.
• Record and manage behaviour data for individuals and school-wide.
• Enable higher attainment, better attendance and improved behaviour.
• Contribute to learner information, advising, guidance and induction programmes.
• Support safe school operations including fire evacuation and start/end procedures.
• Lead behaviour management using restorative and therapeutic approaches.
• Provide a strong, consistent presence to support engagement and relationships.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt curriculum and classroom environments.
• Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions focusing on social, emotional and mental health development.
• Support staff in implementing engagement strategies and safeguarding responsibilities.
• Monitor and report pupil engagement, progress and wellbeing.
