Job summary

Craven College in Skipton is seeking a committed Student Development Officer to join the Personal Development Team. You will contribute to planning and delivering the Personal Development Programme for students and provide effective coaching in individual or classroom settings to support success and progression for a caseload linked to curriculum areas.

The ideal candidate will monitor attendance and punctuality with the Curriculum Head of Department and collaborate with other departments.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 in a relevant subject.
• Certificate in Education/Level 3 Teaching or willingness to work towards.
• Level 2 English and Maths or willingness to achieve within a specified time frame.
• Good administrative skills with accurate record-keeping.
• Interest and understanding of current educational initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the Personal Development Programme for students.
• Provide effective coaching for students individually or in classroom settings.
• Monitor attendance and punctuality with Curriculum HOD and departments.
