Job summary

The Students' Union at UWE is seeking a part-time content creator to produce 3–5 pieces of organic content weekly for Juno's Instagram and TikTok. You will present on camera, conduct short interviews with the general public, and help cover Bristol events such as traffic light party and market stalls.

The role values a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to meet deadlines. Prior knowledge of social media is a bonus but not required; training and opportunities to expand scope will be

Qualifications

• Confident speaking with the general public and comfortable on camera.
• Good communicator with the Juno team and reliable with deadlines.
• Bonus for understanding social media and what resonates with local students, though not required.

Responsibilities

• Create 3–5 pieces of organic content per week for Juno Instagram and TikTok.
• Present on camera and conduct interviews with the general public.
• Assist with Juno pop-up events in Bristol (e.g., traffic light party, market stalls) and expand scope for successful candidates.

Job description

It will involve presenting on camera, holding interviews with the general public, creating 3-5 pieces of organic content a week. Potentially an opportunity to help with other Juno pop-up events we do in Bristol such as a traffic light party and market stalls. Should the applicant really succeed in the role there will be opportunities to increase the scope of the role

Skills and Experience

Applicant must be confident speaking with the general public as well as comfortable in front of camera. Applicant will be a good communicator with the Juno team, and reliable with deadlines. Keeping the team updated should there be any set-backs. We want the applicant to have fun making the content so a general positive attitude to the work would be great. Bonus for having a good understanding of social media and what succeeds with local students however, this isn't required.
