Job summary

Online Education Services (OES) in Birmingham is seeking a proactive Student Coach to support learners throughout their study journey, from offer to progression and graduation. You will run one-to-one coaching, virtual meetings, webinars and small‑group workshops, building trusted relationships and helping students overcome barriers, stay focused and achieve their education goals.

Qualifications

Experience in student support, coaching, mentoring or engagement roles.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across diverse backgrounds.
Ability to manage a caseload and complete follow-up actions reliably.

Responsibilities

Deliver proactive outreach to students at key points in their learning journey.
Provide one-to-one coaching, phone and virtual sessions, and group workshops.
Support enrolment readiness and help students navigate barriers to progression.
Monitor student engagement and intervene to improve retention and progression.
Support careers awareness and development through coaching conversations and signposting.
Work with Academic Quality, Student Support and Funding teams to coordinate holistic support.
