Job summary

Farnborough College of Technology is seeking a part-time Library Assistant to support learners and staff in the College Library and Learner Services. You will help with academic writing and research skills, run enrichment activities, and assist with enrolments while promoting study skills services.

You will interact with students and staff, manage learner behaviour, and contribute to community-building activities across the site, with occasional travel to Fleet and Aldershot as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a library, college or office environment.
• Strong communication and administrative skills.
• Ability to engage with FE students to help them reach their potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide library support to learners and staff in both the Library and Learner Services.
• Support learners with academic writing and research skills.
• Run enrichment activities and assist with enrolments.
