Job summary

BRIDGWATER & TAUNTON COLLEGE is seeking a Work Experience & Industry Placement Adviser to coordinate work experience and industry placement activities across Taunton College, helping 16-18 year olds with clear career aims.

You will build strong employer relationships, manage placements, prioritise workload, and ensure all health and safety checks and administration are completed during scheduled work experience dates.

Qualifications

• Ability to coordinate work experience and industry placement activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for employer engagement.
• Experience or confidence in working with 16–18-year-olds.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work experience and industry placement activities across Taunton College.
• Establish and develop long-standing relationships with employers and ensure they remain engaged.
• Ensure health and safety checks and administration are completed during placements and work experience dates.
• Prioritise and manage workload to align with learners' career aims.
