Job summary

South Staffordshire College is seeking a proactive and organised Work Experience Officer to support students in securing meaningful work experience and industry placements, primarily within the Construction curriculum area. You will coordinate placements, liaise with learners, employers and curriculum teams, and ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are met.

The role involves employer visits including health and safety assessments, maintaining accurate records on the College CRM,

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people aged 16-18.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Confidence in using Microsoft 365 applications.
• Ability to build effective partnerships with employers and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate placements and liaise with learners, employers and curriculum teams to ensure compliance.
• Undertake employer visits including health and safety assessments.
• Maintain accurate records on the College CRM system and support students throughout their placement journey.
