Job summary

The Colne Community School is seeking an Assistant Attendance Officer and Internal Reflection Room Supervisor to join our Pastoral and Attendance teams in a 37-hours-per-week role during term time plus one day in school closure periods. You will monitor absences, notify families, mentor students on behaviour, and support communication between teachers and students.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
• Understanding of and ability to implement the school's behaviour management policy.
• Remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student absence patterns.
• Issue all absence notifications to parents/carers and monitor responses.
• Mentor students so they reflect on their behaviour.
• Communicate work set by the teacher to students and answer questions about process and procedures.
