Job summary

Red Bull Technology invites applications for Industrial Placement positions within its Structures Department. You will contribute to the structural design, analyze performance, and work with design office teams to sign off components while learning to run and post-process FEA models.

You will develop problem solving and communication skills, build tools to improve efficiency, and gain exposure to testing routines and track data analysis during a Championship environment.

Qualifications

• Returning to higher education to study for at least 1 year after the placement year.
• Eligibility is limited to students currently undertaking higher education.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to structural design, analysis and performance of the car.
• Collaborating with design office groups to sign off components.
• Learning to prepare, run, and post-process FEA models.
• Providing supporting hand calculations for concept development and sign-off.
• Developing tools and processes to improve group efficiency.
• Developing physical testing routines and evaluating lab data.
• Understanding loading regimes and duty cycles from track data.
• Developing problem solving and communication through team collaboration.
• Providing Ops Room support during a Race Weekend.
